Founder and Director of Clinical Services

* BCBA – Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2015

* Master’s Degree in Education from California State University Dominguez Hills

Patty on ABA – I started out volunteering at a Special Education Center for children with moderate to severe deficits while in middle school and high school. The ability to help children learn how to independently use eating utensils, communicate through basic sign language, and interact with other peers was exciting to me. As an adult, I became more passionate about helping children learn and grow to meet their potential. While working in ABA as a behaviorist, I gained ample experience with implementing behavior change procedures and fell further in love with the field of ABA.

There is nothing like teaching a child how to mand (make requests), watching the amount of requests they make flourish and seeing the reduction in maladaptive behaviors associated with the inability to effectively communicate their needs. I also enjoy conducting ABA sessions in the community so that we can support children and parents in setting where they have access to the children’s peers.

When not working, I enjoy coloring in adult coloring books, going to the beach with my family and seeing plays and musicals.

Ryan Lettice

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

* Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology from University of California at Santa Barbara

* Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State University

Ryan has over 14 years of ABA experience.

Ryan on ABA: I accidentally walked into the autism clinic at UCSB looking for an internship in a psychology lab. They asked if I’d like to try working with kids with autism and I thought it could be a fun and positive experience. It turned out to be my calling in life and the rest is history.

My favorite part of implementing ABA is being able to make learning fun for the child.

Outside of work, I enjoy deep sea fishing

Stephanie has over 7 years of ABA experience.

Stephanie on ABA: I became interested in ABA when I was a preschool teacher and had behaviorists come into my classroom to work with my students who were on the spectrum.

My favorite part of implementing ABA is being able to watch these children grow while achieving the impossible.

Outside of work, I love traveling and going on walks/ hikes with my dogs.

Katie Lumsden

Behaviorist

I graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in Sociology with an emphasis on education. My current interest include piano, crocheting, and my two cats! I am in ABA because I am passionate about helping children build confidence in their skills. I have worked with children in a variety of settings, and I love the opportunity ABA provides to build strong relationships with both children and their families. My favorite part of the job is getting to see the long-term positive impact our work makes in their lives.
